Fieldbreaks Field Breaks offer relaxing and enjoyable workshops in botanical illustration, landscape painting and photography. Greystoke Cycle Cafe Greystoke Cycle Cafe offers an informal and relaxing environment for an array of courses. Set in the wonderful landscape of Cumbria this venue has lots to offer in both creative courses and stunning scenery. Plas Tan y Blwch Plas Tan y Bwlch is the Snowdonia National Park Environmental Studies Centre, administered by the National Park Authority. The Center runs courses throughout the year as residential and none residential weekends. Offered in association with the Society of Botanical Artists, Plas runs two residential courses in August and September tutored by leading experts in botanical painting. The Society of Botanical Artists The Society of Botanical Artist, founded in 1985, exists to bring together botanical artist of repute to create a focus for the continuance of the centaries old tradition of excellence in this beautiful Art. Members include winners of prestigious awards including The Royal Horticultural Society's Gold and Silver - Gilt medals. Members and non - members exhibit every year, artwork in watercolour, gouache, oil, pastels, colour pencils and pencil.
